Injectables

Injectable treatments

Injections add volume and enhance facial contours, restoring a natural and youthful appearance.

The products can:

  • Enhance facial volume and restore facial contours that have weakened with time
  • Soften lines and wrinkles
  • Correct assymetries and restore facial balance
  • Restore fullness to the lips

Using the substance that naturally provides the skin’s fullness, injections are an effective way to achieve a natural-looking result.

They are made from complex sugar chains and are  found naturally in the body, where their main role is to attract water and provide hydration to the skin. Dermal filler products are designed to resemble your body’s own natural substances and can help revitalise your facial features.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long until you see results?
A: The results are seen immediately at the first session. The skin has a better colour, is less creased, better hydrated and becomes more supple. Gradually, from one session to the next, the complexion looks increasingly radiant and the skin becomes firmer.
Q: Does Beauty Booster hurt?
A: The micro-injections are shallow and performed with very fine needles. For better comfort throughout the injection session Dermal Filler product contains local anaesthetic. For enhanced comfort topical numbing cream will be applied before treatment.
Q: Is there any downtime?
A: There may be very few small spots at the injection points but generally disappear quickly after the injection. Some patients may have bruising and blotchiness post treatment, which will usually settle after 4 days. Downtime is reduced after each subsequent treatment due to the dermis being repaired.
Q: Who is conducting the treatment?
A: Patients will receive a full facial consultation with our Registered Nurse Cath McCahon who has over 12 years of experience and knowledge in the aesthetic arena.
Q: What is the post treatment care?
A:
  • Do not use AHA, Vit C therapy, Retrieve or Vit A creams for at least 2 weeks post treatment.
  • Avoid facials, facial waxing, Glycolic or AHA peels, IPL, or energy-based treatment..
