In this video, Dr Dan Kennedy discusses when someone should consider a blepharoplasty.

“I think the age for blepharoplasty varies phenomenally between individuals.  There are people who are appropriate for blepharoplasty in their 20’s and 30’s because they have some abnormal eye appearance – it might be ptosis, it might be a very low brow and so it can be appropriate for it to be considered early.

There are people who never need blepharoplasty.  Their eyes are bright and fresh into their 70s and 80’s but there are many people who hit their 50’s and find that the lid skin comes a little loose, the brow becomes a little low and the eye will look a lot fresher for them if they have a Blepharoplasty or Brow Lift.”
