Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long until you see results?
A: You should see the result of dermal filler the same day. There may be some swelling and bruising, which will subside 7-10 days after treatment.
Q: Do Dermal Fillers hurt?
A: Patients have the option to have topical numbing cream or local anaesthetic injected to numb the area that is being treated. The topical cream takes 30 minutes to take affect whereas the local anaesthetic injection is immediate.
Q: Is there any downtime?
A: There may potentially be some slight redness, swelling and bruising in the treated area. If this occurs it can be covered with make-up and will generally resolve in 7-10 days.
Q: Who is conducting the treatment?
A: Patients will receive a full facial consultation with our Registered Nurse Cath McCahon who has over 12 years of experience and knowledge in the aesthetic arena. The treatment will be prescribed by Dr Dan Kennedy after he has assessed your suitability for treatment.
